Great antenna but shipping is an issue. Last antenna shipped was damaged and this was not the 1st time this happened.

Good suburban TV antenna

I have been installing and servicing TV antennas since 1991. This traditional-type VHF-HI/UHF TV antenna does a good job for it's size and is more directional than than many of the "newer" design antennas. It is one of my "go-to" antennas for attic installations thanks to it's compact size. The balun transformer and connections could be better.

This is a great antenna and it fits into tight spaces. The antenna description did not disclose the gain to be expected but it is good enough that it does not need an amplifier at the antenna to operate. This was used in an are where the tv transmitters are about 20 miles away and all signals came in strong. If an amplifier is needed it will only be if the antenna serve multiple tvs. It can go in an attic, which is ideal, but I put it on a garage ceiliing to serve a patio tv. Price is right. Don't go for the cheap antennas that require amplifier unless you must..

First impression was that it's cheaply made. The plastic parts feel like they're going to break when you unfold the elements. One of the posts where you connect the downlead had a messed up thread, and it's riveted in, making the antenna unusable and unrepairable. I would not recommend this antenna.

Poor quality and poor transformer. My old cheap and smaller RCA antenna picked up more than this one does.would return it but had to replace the terminal end on transformer before I even put it up, so I’m sure it would be considered damaged. Big waste of my money!!!!
