I’m not an RV’er. I bought the meter to help find position angle presets for my home TV antenna rotor which is the same reason to have one for an RV. It’s worth the money. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the window for entering an address is a little clunky (on an IPad Pro). If you buy one you will want to see the video on meter web page before you even open the box. Then watch it a couple more times after you open the box.
The quick start guide has a QR code that comes up as not found. It also tells me to install the Winegard-Connected App but it isn't on the play store. The winegard apps in the web site and store are for a RV Halo and TV Signal Finder, neither seems to be compatible with this device. The signal finder has a menu for connected, it also says item not found.
Very bad experience out of the box. Shipped with wrong documentation, had to call support twice to get proper docs and login to work. Unit does not function well, finds 'ghost' channels and duplicates some that are found. Signal strengths disagree with tv significantly, map to find towers didn't help, and fine tuning did not help.. Will be returning it for a refund. Also, no documentation on how to drive that app.
Right off the bat we had an issue. Google play would not let me download app. Error message said it only worked with older version phone. Wandered around found a different version. Meter worked great. Love it.
