BURLINGTON, Iowa (October 31, 2017) — Winegard is set to take connectivity to a new level by debuting the next generation of Winegard ConnecT at the RV Dealers Association International Convention and Expo Nov. 6-10 at Bally’s on the Las Vegas Strip. The ConnecT 2.0 creates an RV hotspot to connect all the RVers to their devices such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, security cameras, control systems and other IP connected equipment.

The ConnecT 2.0 uses state-of-the-art technology to maximize speed and range from both WiFi and 4G LTE networks to keep users connected in the most areas. The Connect will accommodate WiFi calling mode in the absence of cell signal inside the RV.

New features allow RVers the option to use either the Winegard ConnecT’s data network that features no-contract 30-day plans with no data throttling, or choose to have the ConnecT 2.0 activated on a new or existing plan with other carriers. The ConnecT 2.0 features a new stylish and robust dome design that makes for easy installation.

"The new Winegard ConnecT 2.0 shows Winegard’ s drive and commitment to keeping RVers connected like the comforts of home,” said Keith Larson, National Sales and Marketing Manager of Winegard’ s RV Aftermarket group.

Designed specifically for the mobile environment, Winegard ConnecT 2.0 is a long-range, high-performance WiFi extender that increases the range of existing WiFi hotspots. When WiFi is not available, the ConnecT 2.0 utilizes high-gain 4G LTE antennas to connect to a nationwide data network and provide connectivity in areas where cell coverage may be weak or not available (monthly fee applies). The ConnecT 2.0 will be available through distribution in January with configurations ranging from $199 to $349.
