High tech FlatWave Mini designed for major metropolitan areas

BURLINGTON, Iowa – (February 13, 2013) – Winegard today introduced its FlatWave® Mini indoor HDTV antenna optimized for single band UHF reception in strong signal areas, such as major metropolitan cities. The compact version of the popular, razor-thin reversible FlatWave measures just 7.25 in. by 9.25 in., but delivers the same high quality, free true HDTV picture of the original. Optimized for UHF viewing, the Mini retails for $29.99 and the original FlatWave retails for $39.99.

"We designed the Mini to offer a low cost alternative for consumers in high signal urban areas or in UHF only markets where more expensive, dual band antennas are not necessary. By optimizing the antenna for the UHF band, we were able to drastically reduce the size and price," said Winegard National Sales Manager Grant Whipple. "Approximately 25% of the markets in the USA are UHF only."

The FlatWave Mini’s multi-directional patented design pulls in free HD television signals up to 15 miles away from broadcast towers. It comes with a 15 ft. high quality coax cable attached to the antenna and adhesive strips to mount the two ounce antenna on windows and walls.

This small, ultra sleek antenna delivers free television in 1080 high definition, the best picture quality currently available.

The Winegard FlatWave Mini is able to pick up TV from all the major local broadcast networks, such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and PBS, plus additional networks like Qubo, ION, The CW, Universal Sports and more, even including regional weather and sports that may not be available through paid programming.

The Winegard FlatWave Mini, which is made in the USA, is available at www.GetFreeTV.com and will soon be available at Amazon.com.

"As we like to say," explained Whipple, "unlock the Free in your TV with the FlatWave."
