Had a "AZ motor stall" error. Spoke with a rep who told me I would need a new AZ motor. Replaced in under 30 min and my sat is working fine.
The last time we took our rig out we experienced an AZ Stall error message. A call to Winegard Customer Support help me identify that the AZ motor in my Trav’ler was failing. They sent me the replacement motor along with instructions on how to replace the motor. Inside the torrent. The instructions were clear, precise and easy to follow. After the motor was replaced, everything on our Trav’ler worked perfectly.
As ordered. Also easy installation. Only hiccup is need for recalibration of dish once installed.
Replacement motor took care of the “Locked Azimuth motor” problem. Too bad the original motor last only two years with minimal usage. Service department got the motor out the same day as the order, however shipping by UPS Ground took over a week to arrive. But glad to have my motorhome TV’s working again!
Tech support helped me diagnose the problem and instructed me on what part was needed with written and diagram installation instructions. It did not too complicated but at 75 years of age I did not feel comfortable working on the roof of a Class A motorhome. It took the pro about 30 to install, recalibrate and I am now watching Dish Network.
