Seasonal basis programming service now offered with new ViP211k HD Satellite Receiver/Tuner

BURLINGTON, IOWA – (Nov. 29, 2010) – WINEGARD COMPANY announced today that the Winegard dealer network is offering a Pay-As-You-Go programming service through DISH Network. The Pay-As-You-Go service features a DISH Network ViP211k satellite receiver, and gives mobile customers the ability to purchase DISH Network programming 30 days at a time. Customers also have the flexibility to stop and start service as needed. 

“RVers, campers, tailgaters and truckers have long desired seasonal or temporary service without having to pay for service for an entire year, and we see Pay-As-You-Go programming as a great option,” said Aaron Engberg, director of Mobile Products, Winegard Company. “Often times, customers struggle in finding, installing and activating receivers. The compact ViP211k is a single-tuner satellite receiver that works with DISH Network-compatible satellite antennas on both SD and HD televisions. Only with DISH Network can customers enjoy in-motion HD programming (requires an in-motion compatible antenna). The ViP211k is offered for $149 MSRP.
