BURLINGTON, Iowa (Feb. 16, 2015) — Stewart-Haas Racing has selected Winegard, a leader in antenna design, development and manufacturing, to provide the satellite TV antenna for each of its team’s pit boxes during the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.
The Winegard Carryout G2 portable satellite antenna debuted on each of the team's four pit boxes during the Feb. 14 Sprint Unlimited at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.
"We traditionally used a fixed antenna to get the TV signal for the race and live weather, but we contacted Winegard because their G2 Automatic was so much easier to use," said Greg Zipadelli, vice president of competition, Stewart-Haas Racing. "Winegard has equipped each of our pit boxes with a designated unit, and we've been impressed by the quick set up and trouble-free auto signal connection."
The Carryout G2 is the smallest of its kind on the market and perfect for RVing, camping and tailgating. It's compact and 100 percent automatic, easy for anyone to set up in just a few minutes.
Winegard and the Carryout G2 have been honored with a number of prestigious industry awards, including the Recreational Vehicle Aftermarket Association (RVAA) 2014 Product of the Year. Winegard was the 2014 Gold Winner in the Satellite Hardware category for Trailer Life and MotorHome magazines' Readers Choice Awards.
