TR-1518 portable tripod hardware bag
I only needed the little rubber feet for my brand new Playmaker Dual. Did not have them in the box, so I had to buy this hardware bag for $25, so I could get the rubber feet.
Received package and opened it. Not all hardware was shipped. The leg rubber ends and the five rubber grommets were missing. I called customer service and was told the missing material would be shipped out the next day. I have not received an email of confirmation that anything has been done.
The kit had no assembly instructions.
I had a winegard carry out satellite dish with the tripod for 13 years. It finally quit working on our most recent tv outing. Replaced with the refurbished playmaker dual. It worked fine but found out I needed 4 rubber grommets that pressed into the bottom on the playmaker in order to have it work with the tripod. Had to order the tripod “kit” which included other items I didn’t need. After installing the rubber grommets to the satellite it worked fine with the satellite dish.. it would have been nice to be able to just order the rubber grommets by themselves instead of spending over $15 plus tax plus shipping totaling over $25. So summing up I am happy with the new playmaker dish, especially how quickly it powers up and finds satellites compared to the old carryout. And with only one coax cable! Sweet! Of course the test was from my drive way in front of my house. Hopefully it will perform the same away on trips. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 rating is that I had to separately order the tripod kit to get the grommets to make it mount to the tripod correctly. Either the grommets should’ve been included in the playmaker box or the young lady who helped me with my playmaker order should have told me then that there were no grommets included to adapt the playmaker to my original tripod.
