I mounted this antenna in my attic, ran cable to a splitter, and then to my two stereo/entertainment receivers. I was instantly able to pick up stations that had previously been unstable. This antenna solved my problem quickly and efficiently...great product!

The Winegard HD-6010 FM antenna is not pretty. But it really does the job. After trying many indoor antennas and outdoor TV antennas with poor reception, I decided to give this one a try. In the old days of analog TV, you could use the same antenna for TV & FM. But now with digital TV that is no longer the case. I tried using outdoor TV antennas for FM and couldn't get anything above 100 MHz. Plus those antennas were directional. The HD-6010 is truly omnidirectional and picks up stations from all directions. The only problem I have is when a station on an adjacent frequency overrides a station I want to listen to. But that's not the fault of the antenna. It's doing its job and picking up the stations. It's the fault of the FCC for licensing too many stations too close together on the dial and geographically. My stereo receiver has 30 presets and I get a strong signal on every one of those plus other stations in between. I had my antenna professionally installed on a 30 foot tall tower below 2 TV antennas. Winegard recommends keeping this antenna at least 4 feet away from other antennas so mine is approximately 25 feet off the ground. The best indoor antennas I used had "rabbit ears" but even they weren't nearly as good as this one.

The holes into which the screw that secures the antenna is inserted on the mounting bracket did not line up with the holes on the antenna, and the assembly did not seem secure even if it did, so I returned the antenna without even being able to install it. I received only a partial refund. Not good.
