This antenna replaced an amplified antenna that had a signal strength adjustment which often had to be changed for different channels and also be repositioned to get a picture. Hooked up the FL5500A and taped the flat antenna up on the wall with 2 small strips of 3M double sided tape. I didn't try different locations to hang the antenna, didn't rescan either, just wanted to see what came up. I was surprised to see all the previous channels come up strong, without freezes or being chopped. Very happy with the antenna. I would not have spent the money on this if it hadn't been made in the USA.

Hello. I got the antenna on Friday- 11 Sept. I was very pleased with the aesthetics, size, and decent reception. Look forward to trying it in other locations- such as my parents. Made in USA is KEY!!

Expected more from a Winegard product. Picks up no more stations than a much cheaper antenna.

I have purchased 2 of these now. One of them 2 years ago, and one just recently. They perform well and are a breeze to set up.

Works great! Placed it high up in front living room window, and now get 58 channels, including major networks.

After looking at several options, I selected the Winegard Indoor HDTV antenna. Installation was a breeze and the reception is excellent. I highly recommend this to anyone needing an indoor antenna. I've used Winegard products In the past and have never been disappointed.

Just purchased this and wanted to share. I previously owned a popular flat indoor antenna but needed to replace. Read so many online reviews for indoor antennas that just confused me and so many clearly biased. Finally kept hearing about this product from many sources including consumer reports and antennaman online reviews, Things that tipped me to trying it first: Its made in USA, the company actually responds to questions, shipping and service was personal and fast, with good followup. Their site has important info (so does channelmaster to be honest). Most importantly the thing just works. Much clearer and more channels than the previous leaf unit I had. Very easy to set up, flexible cable and can be used with or without the integrated amplifier. Highly recommend it. Start with Rabbitears.info site and see exactly how many stations with 35-40 miles you have access to. If multiple basic OTA channels, this is definitely worth it
