This system replaced an older trav'ler that failed to find and lock onto satellites. Upon removal, I discovered that a broken tooth on the ring gear was the probable cause. The new pro was easy to install using my orig8nal baseplate/wiring and finds/locks onto satellites very fast with the GPS. My only issue was in setting up the idu. The instructions included must have been from an earlier version idu but I found the correct instructions online.

I should have called your 800 number first before calling Directv because they said I had to get another box. Once I discovered that I could use the main box from my house, I cancelled the install and hopefully will have the charge reversed since I did not accept the new box.
