Certificate of Conformity Opens Markets in South America for Winegard

BURLINGTON, Iowa – (September 11, 2012) – Winegard Company today announced it has received government approval from the Peru MTC for its WX980 and WX1200 VSAT antenna systems and controllers.

This means the Winegard VSAT systems have been reviewed and approved for sale and installation in Peru, and potentially other markets in South America.

The Peru Homologation Certificate verifies that products meet specific safety standards for the clearance of customs and sale inside the nation of Peru. This means the two Winegard VSAT antenna systems and controllers can now be sold throughout the country. Homologation means to confirm or sanction the validity of a product or item.
