Topped the Satellite Hardware category for the third consecutive year

BURLINGTON, Iowa (December 2, 2014) — Winegard’s premier satellite antenna collection earns the top spot in the prestigious annual Readers’ Choice Awards for both Trailer Life and MotorHome magazines. The Burlington-based company is the Gold Winner of the Satellite Hardware category for the third consecutive year. Winegard’s lineup for RV’ers includes the TRAV’LER, RoadTrip, Carryout and Pathway antennas.

"We are honored and humbled to have our satellite antennas recognized by our customers. We've set out to create incredible products that enhance the RV experience by bringing unmatched entertainment anywhere along the open roads," says Jon Manley, President of Winegard. "It's thrilling to see the hard work of our fantastic team acknowledged by the Trailer Life and MotorHome readers."

This year, more than 10,000 readers responded to the Trailer Life and MotorHome surveys. MotorHome invited readers to choose from more than 100 brands for their favorites in 27 categories while Trailer Life offered more than 100 brands in 28 categories.

It has been a landmark year for Winegard as the Readers' Choice Awards comes on the heels of another prestigious honor, this time by RV industry peers. Winegard's Carryout G2 portable satellite earned the coveted 2014 Product of the Year Award by the Recreational Vehicle Aftermarket Association (RVAA) in August. A panel of judges comprised of dealers and distributors chose the Carryout G2 as their choice when considering products for innovation, quality, value, functionality and more.
