FlatWave available in many locations making free HD broadcast TV more accessible

BURLINGTON, Iowa (June 6, 2012) – Winegard Company, inventor of the first multi-channel TV antenna for the United States, has announced it has reached an agreement with Costco Wholesale Corporation to make the FlatWave digital indoor TV antenna the exclusive TV antenna in approximately 200 Costco locations.

"The Costco agreement now makes the razor thin and translucent FlatWave antenna available to consumers coast to coast," said Grant Whipple, Winegard Co. "At a great retail price, consumers will be amazed at the almost Blu-ray™ quality picture and quantity of channels it pulls in for free."

The agreement with Costco makes it the first in-store retail location in America where the FlatWave antenna is available.

The FlatWave digital TV antenna features a patented design from the antenna experts at Winegard and receives free HD broadcast for both VHF and UHF spectrums. The FlatWave has a razor thin, hide-away design for indoor use and comes with 15 ft. of mini coax cable for optimal placement. It has a simple plug in and play set up and does not require a professional installer.

Costco also offers the Winegard FreeVision® antenna exclusively online as an alternative solution for situations where distance from the broadcast tower is farther away. The indoor/outdoor antenna can be placed inside, in the attic or outside and comes with a mounting bracket and 50' coax cable.

Winegard takes great pride in being more than just an assembler, marketing its antennas as "Made in the U.S.A."
