Digital Converters - How many needed?
Date Modified: 04.17.09

Question:
I am running 2 analog TV's in an RV. Can the digital converter box get connected after the signal goes through the switch box so that you can have a converter box for tuning each TV separately or does it need to be connected before the switch box and will tune both TV's to the same channel?

Tech Tip:
Each converter box will only allow you to tune in one channel at a time. If your goal is to be able to watch a different channel on each television then you will need to install two converter boxes, one for each TV. If this is the case you will want to install the box after the video switch. If this is not as important to you, you can use a separate power supply and install the converter box before the video switch and use the AUX port for the Antenna and you will be able to run one converter to both televisions.
