CC-7870 - More Information
Date Modified: 04.17.09

Question:
I am interested in purchasing a Winegard CC-7870 and I was wondering is there any additional information that you can give me? How is this unit different than an ordinary signal splitter/combiner? Does it do any sort of filtering? Does it support HDTV?

Tech Tip:
The CC-7870 basically is the same as a splitter/combiner. The major difference is that the CC-7870 is AC/DC passive on the antenna 1 side whereas a splitter/ combiner normally is AC/DC passive on all ports. There is no filtering of any kind in the CC-7870, and it will work on channels 2-69 both for analog and digital.
