AS-2003 - Searches but no signal
Date Modified: 04.16.09

Question:
After removing our coach from six months storage, now the dish gives continual error codes of an unsuccessful search. It will spend several minutes searching and then stop and light the search and off lights.
I've gone on the roof and verified that there are no obstructions.

Tech Tip:
The first thing to check is the voltage on the coax connected to the LNB. The receiver sends 12-18VDC to the LNB to power it. Without this voltage the dish can not find a signal. If you do not have this voltage check every connection on your way back to the receiver until you find where you are losing it.
