Domed Units - Dew/Rain problems Date Modified: 01.22.09 Question: Dew and rain continue to be a problem for me in getting reception with my Winegard roof mounted dish even with the application of Protect All. Would Rain-Ex be better? Tech Tip: Rain-ex will actually be worse. Rain-ex is a wax based product and the build up of wax will actually cause more signal loss in the future.
